The ULN2002A, ULN2003A, and ULN2004A are high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor arrays featuring seven open-collector common-emitter pairs, each rated at 500mA. These devices include suppression diodes for inductive load driving and are designed for compatibility with common logic families. They are suitable for driving a wide range of loads such as solenoids, relays, DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal print-heads, and high-power buffers. Available in SO-16, PDIP-16, and TSSOP-16 (ULN2003A only) packages, these arrays offer simplified board layout due to opposing input and output pins.
